hyaluronidase in the reversal of HA fller injection.
Methods: PubMed/MEDLINE databases were utilized to identify case
reports and studies pertaining to the use of hyaluronidase after HA
Results: Hyaluronidase can be successfully employed in the
management of uncomplicated nodules and overcorrection,
inflamed nodules, or tissue ischemia associated with HA fller injection.
Hyaluronidase use is dependent on the clinical indication, anatomical
location, and original injected HA quantity.
Conclusion: Hyaluronidase is an important tool for clinicians utilizing
cosmetic HA fller injection. Further reports and studies are warranted
to frmly establish the ideal treatment protocol.
